Australian Fly Fishing Team Results.

World Fly Fishing Championships, Slovakia, 2017.

Congratulations to the Australian Fly Fishing Team for their fantastic achievement of 5th place in the teams event at the World Fly Fishing Championships held in Slovakia in September, 2017. 

The team members consisted of the following anglers and assistants:

Captain: Craig Coltman.
Team Manager: Garth Jackson. 
Guide: Martin Droz.
Reserve: Glenn Eggleton. 
Support: Jane Forster.

Anglers and individual results: 

6th place Christopher Bassano.
17th place Tom Jarman.
19th place Jonothan Stagg.
29th place Mark Bulley.
77th place Rick Sunderland.


Well done to Rainbow Lodge Guide Craig Coltman for captaining the team. Special congratulations to our Head Guide Christopher Bassano for his 6th place individual result, and for winning the Chris Hole trophy for the highest placed Australian angler at the competition. We would also like to acknowledge the fantastic achievements of guide Tom Jarman who finished in 17th place and received a special award for netting the third highest number of fish (49) caught out of the Orava river in one session throughout the entire competition.
