Japan Fly Fishing Trip 2018
Posted on October 04, 2017 Under General news
After the success and popularity of our 2012, 2014 and 2016 Japan Trips, Rainbow Lodge is organising a fly fishing trip to Japan in the winter of 2018.
We have once again secured the best weeks of the year for dry fly fishing and are looking for expressions of interest. The dates are as follows:
Option 1: Monday, May 28th to Sunday, June 3rd, 2018.
Option 2: Monday, June 4th to Sunday, June 10th, 2018.
Our interpreter, Masako Sawada, was instrumental in helping Andrew and Nick from the popular television series, "Hook Line and Sinker' by organising their entire fishing trip and being on hand throughout. This episode has already aired and features Char and Cherry Salmon fishing along with chasing Sea Bass in Tokyo Harbour. All of these things are on our itinerary.
‘I love travelling to fish and when I do, I like to do things that are different to what I am used to. I want to learn and take things home to improve my own knowledge and fishing ability so as that I can pass things on to my clients. Japan provided me with that.’
